For researchers and institutions

Know your journal is safe — before you submit.

Thousands of researchers pay to publish each year without a reliable way to check whether a journal is genuine, properly indexed, or at risk of being delisted. We're building the tool that answers that question honestly, for free.

Talk to us Read the plain-language guide

Every year, good research ends up in journals that later lose their indexing. When that happens, the paper stops counting — and the money is already gone. We think that's a solvable problem.

What we're building

Clarity, in three parts

We're early, and we're building in the open. Here's what exists, and what's coming.

01 · live soon

A free journal database

Look up any journal: its real indexing status, whether it has ever been delisted, its actual cost, and how long it really takes. Free, always.

02 · in progress

Honest placement help

For researchers who want it: an honest assessment of where a paper realistically fits, and help getting it there — only into journals we'd trust ourselves.

03 · for institutions

Protection for departments

UGC retired the CARE list and made journal quality your call. We turn the new parameters into a checkable score, so your review committee isn't starting from a blank page.

What you can count on from us

Things we will never do Guarantee an index · take payment from a journal to recommend it · publish anything that shouldn't be published · send you unsolicited "opportunity" emails · touch your publication fee.

Who this is for

Two people we're building for

Researchers & scholars

You've written the paper. Now you need to publish it somewhere real, without overpaying or gambling your work on a journal that might vanish. We help you choose with your eyes open.

Deans & IQAC offices

Your accreditation depends on research that actually counts. We help you see where your faculty are publishing, flag the risky journals before submission, and protect your NAAC and NIRF metrics.

Start with the guide

Not sure what CiteScore, Impact Factor, or "Q1" actually mean — or which "impact factors" are fake? We wrote a plain-language guide that sorts every metric into real, context-dependent, and fake. No sign-up, nothing to buy.

Why we're doing this

Right now, the people who profit most from academic publishing in India are often the ones with the least reason to be honest with you. Journals that get delisted keep taking submissions. Services promise guaranteed publication they can't deliver. And the person paying — usually a scholar under deadline pressure — is the one left carrying the risk.

We think there's room for one operation whose only job is to be straight with you. Not to publish your paper, not to sell you a shortcut — just to tell you what's true, so you can decide for yourself.

We're early. We're talking to researchers, faculty, and institutions to make sure we build the right thing. If any of this resonates, we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
